Sustaining the Mountains, Empowering the People.

Bridging the Divide: Basic Needs, Lasting Livelihoods.

Who We Are

TrekNomads Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering the remote mountain communities across India, including the Western Ghats, Uttarakhand, Ladakh, and the North East. We provide vital support to villages with limited access to basic facilities, focusing on sustainable livelihoods, essential healthcare, education, and environmental conservation to help them thrive against adversity.

  • Access to Basic Facilities: Establishing small dispensaries, providing essential medicines, and setting up sanitation facilities (toilets/dustbins) in villages.

  • Health Support: Actively supporting local healthcare workers in critical public health drives, including Polio and COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • Sustainable Livelihoods: Promoting eco-tourism and creating market access for locally produced goods to ensure stable, long-term income streams for villagers.

  • Environmental Stewardship: Leading hands-on conservation efforts, including the cleaning of trekking trails (plastic removal) and the restoration of natural water sources (rivers, rivulets, and ponds), alongside raising awareness for environmental protection.
